Royvon pioneered residential dog training in the UK, and over more than 67 years has helped thousands of challenging dogs and their owners. The James family founded the business in 1959. Darren James took over in 1994 at age 24, and his wife Hannah became co-owner in 2004. They moved the head office from Merthyr Tydfil to Esher in 2006. Training methods have evolved to use only positive, force-free training approaches, with close working relationships with the IMDT. Training is progressively distraction-proofed to help dogs become genuine parts of family life. Owner training is essential alongside residential dog training.
