Dalmatian
Leah
Here we have lovely Leah the Dalmatian! Leah has joined us for some training due to her nervousness around people, and also dogs which would cause her to react out of fear on the lead. Leah's trainer Rhona has addressed these issues whilst she has been staying on our 3 week Behaviour Modification Programme as you will see in the video. When Leah first came in she was extremely fearful of the staff and being in a group of dogs, but with some 1-1 time Rhona was able to build a great bond with her and really bring her out of her shell.

Rottweiler
Theo
Theo is a young and lovable Rottie who joined us here at Royvon to improve his obedience, especially when around distractions. Theo loves dogs and people which means his owners find it hard to get him to listen when they are in the park. So he joined us for 3 weeks on our Complete Training Programme, where he worked with his trainer Rhona on his recall, focus and basic obedience.

French Bulldog
Bandit
This young excitable French Bulldog is always busy scanning around with eyes peeled and ears perked up, always on the alert. He is anxious and hyper-vigilant and when anything unfamiliar comes into view, especially a dog, he would instantly freeze and within seconds a frenzied, out-of-control barking and lunging would follow. His behaviour is sometimes a result of anxiety or fear, sometimes frustration and over-excitement and usually both. This is very stressful and upsetting for Bandit and also for his loving family. His pet-parents enrolled him in Royvon's Behaviour Modification Programme to work on his aggressive (and by aggressive we really mean reactive and over-excited behaviour towards other dogs. With the help of trainer Aleksandra Borawska in Royvon Merthyr, Bandit is learning that other dogs are nothing to stress about as well as working on his self control and confidence. With his training, Bandit is now on his way to good behaviour. If your dog shows similar behaviours to Bandit's, get the help you need from our experts. With our professional trainers, Royvon Dog Hotels and Training has helped thousands of dogs and pet-parents in the United Kingdom since 1959.

Hugo
This is Hugo the German Shepherd Dog. He is here on our Complete Training Programme. In particular his owner wanted help with his lead walking as she is recovering from surgery and Hugo previously pulled hard and constantly, making him unmanageable and unwalkable. We have worked very hard on his impulse control too and he is really getting the hang of 'waiting politely means I get the exciting things!'

Simba
This video demonstrates our complete training package (CTP) for residential dog training at Royvon. Simba went to Royvon Dog Training Schools for a complete German shepherd residential dog training package. Here, he learned command practices on the field. Some examples are shown in the video, like walking to heel on and off the lead, staying in sit/down position, recalling, working with distractions, and meeting other people and dogs. Our CTP residential dog training is suitable for owners who require a training solution that guarantees a certain level of dog obedience, as demonstrated upon course completion. This is ideal for German Shepherds since they are known to be active and highly intellectual. This training is best for Simba to keep him busy learning and playing. For those who have puppies, early obedience training is best to get them used to the basic canine manners towards humans and fellow dogs. German Shepherds like Simba are also great watchdogs. They are highly trainable to do certain jobs, such as guiding people with illnesses and sniffing out hidden humans/items. This is why our German shepherd residential dog training is an ideal option for owners looking for a dog training school in the UK. We have fully qualified trainers from the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. Our 55 years of experience and expertise is proven in our outstanding records of success stories from clients all across the UK. Also, there is no need to worry about harsh methods used in dog training. Here at Royvon Dog Training schools, we only implement positive reinforcements to train the dogs. We treat each dog with the same love they are used to at home. If your dog also needs residential training, we have different options for you. The one in the video is our CTP package but we also offer boarding with training and behaviour modification courses.

Adair
When 7-year-old German Shepherd Adair first came to Royvon, he had nervous aggressive behaviour that made it difficult for him to socialise. After only 10 days, he showed early signs of progress by learning to accept the presence of other dogs. Eventually, he also learned to play and engage with fellow canines. After Royvon’s 3-week behaviour modification programme, Adair’s pet parents are now reaping the benefits of their “fantastic” decision. Watch this video to find out more about Adair’s 3-week transformation with us.
