Our approach
Enrichment. Always.
Every dog that comes through our gates at Merthyr is trained using positive, reward-based methods. No aversive equipment, no punishment just structured, calm guidance that builds genuine confidence.
Our approach is based on the latest scientific understanding of dog behaviour. We work with your dog's natural instincts rather than against them, and we ensure the progress they make with us is something you can maintain at home.
Every residential stay includes a three-month owner follow-up programme, so the work doesn't stop when your dog comes home.
Our Training Philosophy★★★★★
“The Merthyr team completely transformed our dog. He came to us reactive, anxious and unmanageable on the lead. Six weeks later he’s a different animal. We cannot thank Royvon enough.”
