I would absolutely recommend Royvon for residential training. My partner and I sent our 16 month German shepherd, Nova, to the 3-week board and train at Royvon to help us continue progress on some of Nova’s behaviours we have had challenges with changing such as over excitement around other dogs and new environments and a lack of engagement with us in these situations. This also served as boarding for us whilst we were on holiday for a week. Nova is super friendly which makes it difficult to take her places as her over excitement can easily make other dogs nervous and put us in a tough situation handling her. We were nervous to send Nova to a board and train as she has never been away from us this long and we were not sure how she would get on in the kennels, but the staff at Royvon, and our trainer Charlie, quickly put us at ease through a 121 consultation and a tester night in the kennels. We looked at a few other board and trains and Royvon was the clear choice. Not only did Charlie work with us to understand our real trouble areas with Nova, but she created a training plan catered to Nova and our needs. We got so many videos walking us through the training and what it targeted that we were able to follow along the three weeks and really see progress and understand what we would need to do to continue the training with Nova once she was back with us. Outside of the training videos, we got daily updates and photos from the care staff showing us Novas play sessions and letting us know how she was getting on. We loved seeing Nova have play sessions with staff and other dogs staying there making us feel at ease that she was having fun as well and being well taken care of. After the 3-weeks we had a 2-hour handover with Charlie where she walked us through what was covered and had us run through drills so we felt ready to carry on all the hard work she put in. It’s only been a few days since we picked Nova up, but we can already see the difference in her engagement with us during our training sessions and her ability to relax indoors. We’re so excited to see continued progress with everything Charlie has showed us and keep working on her training at home and in our local environments. Although she still has a ways to go, we already feel so much more positive and confident that we will get to our desired goals and we have been having lots of fun with working with Nova! Looking forward to our follow-up sessions and we will definitely consider the other services Royvon offers as we know Nova is in great hands! Thanks to Charlie and whole team for everything.
A million percent would recommend, Charlie went above and beyond with our nervous, reactive boy and did absolutely everything she could to make him and us feel comfortable with his residential training, the foundations she's laid with both him and us are incredibly clear and the confidence we have with him now is unreal, I was too anxious to walk him before but after leaving him at Royvon for only three weeks am now able to enjoy his walks to the fullest and now look forward to them! He is still reactive (because Rome wasn't built in a day), but we now have the proper tools in place to be able to manage him and build his confidence up to a level where he'll be able to walk past unknown dogs and ignore them, and we have no doubt that he is capable because Charlie has showed us how! It was the hardest decision ever to send him but after seeing the difference and how far he's come we would do it again in a heartbeat, we have absolutely no regrets and will forever be grateful for the care that Charlie and the whole team showed to him, and for the understanding that they showed me being a very worried puppy mum, if anyone is in two minds about whether or not Royvon will help their dog then forget any doubts, 10/10 service in every way imaginable!!!
The first thing i want to say is Royvon far exceeded my expectations for what I was expecting from my 1.5 year old xl bully. I wanted the best training for him due to all the bad press they get and following neutering, he went back into some silly puppy behaviour so wanted it nipped in the bud ASAP.Maslow went for 3 weeks residential and spent a lot of his time with Charlie who is fantastic. She sent regular updates including videos and pictures which we could go through in preparation for getting him home. We had updates daily from the report team to let me know that his report was ready. He had a great time.I cannot recommend Charlie and the team enough. Definitely worth the money and he has come home ready to carry on with the training and is listening to me and eager to learn. If you're having issues with your dog then give the team at Royvon a call, it's made my life a lot easier already.
Having used Royvon for my parents' rescue dog a few years ago with such a positive experience, they were my first thought for my 10 month old Border Collie puppy, Molly. Molly was struggling with her confidence around other dogs, reactivity to cars, lead pulling and a strong prey-drive towards small animals/birds.Molly's trainer during her stay was Charlie who was brilliant. She was able to quickly build up a strong relationship with her and it was easy to see that Molly felt really comfortable. Charlie sent photos and videos from each training session which helped me to track her progress and are great to refer back to now that Molly is back home. Charlie quickly identified Molly's strong herding instinct and was able to direct this positively into various "games" which are great outlet.Throughout her stay, I also received daily photos from the care team taken during her group play sessions as well as enrichment reports. She was initially only socialised with one older, calmer collie to build up her confidence before being introduced to a larger group. It was great to see her confidence grow.Molly is much more focused on walks and confident around other dogs and cars. Thank you to Charlie and the team at Royvon!
We have a very timid and anxious Chihuahua who loved working with Charlie on games that helped him get more comfortable on walks and with other people. Charlie was patient and very helpful, always uploading videos of what we did so we could keep training at home.
Bert can be a little bit difficult, but we are never made to feel like he is too much to handle at Royvon. Love the fact they remember who he is when we arrive. Fabulous care by Royvon and won’t use any other kennels - thank you!

The whole team at Royvon provides such an excellent experience and customer service. We specifically chose the 3 week behavioural training for our excitable Belgian Lab and we have seen such a huge improvement. We received daily updates throughout the 3 weeks with videos and photos of how the training was progressing and so that we could become more knowledgeable on the exercises we will need to be doing. Our trainer Charlie was very professional and genuinely treated our boy like he was one of her own. The training concluded with a thorough handover session and training pack along with several reinforcement sessions. Faultless service overall and highly recommended Charlie and the whole team at Royvon.
We have returned from collecting our 10 ‘month old German shepherd Barry who has been with the team at Royvon for a 3 week residential to help with his reactivity. Charlie and the team have worked so well with him and following on from our handover session we feel so much more equipped to build on what he has learnt . We are looking forwards to returning for our follow ups and even though it’s a 4 hour round trip it’s been worth every penny and mile . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Royvon .

I have been using Royvon for 3 years with Bailey and he absolutely loves his time spent there he gets so excited when he realises we where we are going and he cant wait to be checked in he is already to go through the door to the back. I have recently taken on a 7 year old pug which had never been in boarding before and booked both dogs in for a short break. I was really worried about how the new addition to the family would cope in boarding but I didn't need to worry as I had daily updates telling me how she was doing which I cant thank Royvon enough for as it meant I could relax and enjoy my time away knowing they were being really well look after.

We left our 9yr old border collie Pip with Royvon for 17 nights whilst we were away. Although Pip has been to Royvon on 2 previous occasions this is the first time we have left her for so long…We needn’t have worried…she had the life of Reilly with the professionals.The team at Royvon are extremely professional and facilities there are first class. Everything was organised in advance and the hand over seamless. We booked a larger room, play and walks…it was well worth doing so. The updates we received daily showed us just how much fun Pip was having and reassured us that this was the right decision.I cannot thank the team enough for looking after Pip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Royvon Esher. I am more than happy to book Pip in again…money well spent - my last review I said if I could give 6 ⭐️ I would; a small amendment it’s now a firm 7 out of 5 😁.I would not hesitate to recommend that you leave your beloved pet with Royvon, they can certainly be trusted

Our pooch has done the three week behavioural modification programme and has also boarded with Royvon. Charlie and the whole team are brilliant, they take the time to go through everything with you, reassure you and answer all of your questions in detail. They take such good care of the dogs, and are so passionate about helping to work on any issues with training or behaviour. The bond Charlie has built with Bailey has been wonderful to see. When we dropped him off for boarding, he had no cares in the world because he got to run off and see her. We know Bailey is safe and well looked after when he stays at Royvon, and we couldn't ask for a better team to look after him when we are away. Thank you Charlie and team!

Our two reactive rescues were so anxious they wouldn’t get out of the car when we first arrived. Thanks to 1-2-1’s with Romeo they are no longer scared of cars, crossing the road etc & are a lot easier to walk without being so reactive. Royvon Esher is the most fantastic place and I am so glad that I boarded Lucas here for 13 days. He was looked after with great care by all the wonderful staff and he had lots of fun mixing and running around with the other dogs. Our girl Mabel had such a great time during her 3 weeks residential and behaviour modification stay with the very talented Charlie. You can clearly see how passionate Charlie is about Bully breeds and really has specialised knowledge.We were provided daily updates through videos and pictures, and I truly didn’t realise beforehand how great it would be to receive these. Seeing Mabel so happy and truly bonding with the staff was amazing to see and is also a great tool for us to refer to and learn from. This is our sweet girl, Frida. She is almost 7 months old and her first time staying overnight in a doggy hotel! We did the overnight evaluation to see how she would do before doing a much longer stay ahead of a trip abroad. Given we are first time dog parents, we were nervous, but the team there was so reassuring and were so good with her. I’m not sure she wanted to come home. 🤣 Needless to say, she’s looking forward to her long stay! Here she is smiling on her woodland walk !

Hi, my dog absolutely loves his stay. He is a rescue and I was originally nervous about leaving him, but he has been numerous times and can’t wait to get in through the door when we arrive, he doesn’t bother with a goodbye it’s a quick nod and then it’s all about let me go and have some fun. He is happy staying there and looked after really well. One time he needed to take medication, he had a sore paw, I was kept up to date letting me know me how he was doing. I can relax on my holiday knowing that he is safe and thoroughly enjoying his.

We left our dog here apprehensively but after meeting Romeo we were confident that he was in the right place considering his difficult behaviour .he had a strong prey drive wanting to chase anything that moves and being over 50kg he needed somebody strong enough to hold him as well as the expertise . We received daily videos of his progress and this was very reassuring ! Today we have collected him and we think he would have preferred to with Romeo they had a close bond ! He is so much better than before but of course we need to carry on with the training ourselves . We have been working with Charlie since the beginning of this year to help with training our 2yo terrier Finn, who is leash reactive to other dogs. We did 6x 121 sessions and some taster boarding to help Finn settle into the kennel environment before Finn completed a three week residential over the summer. Charlie and Royvon have been absolutely fantastic throughout. The team are really dedicated to helping all dogs, and we've never been anywhere that has been so supportive about our dogs' particular needs. We'd got into a bit of a rut where we felt like we couldn't do much out and about with our dog due to previous training advice, but Charlie and team have really helped us to make great progress and build our confidence back! The three week residential was absolutely well worth it - Charlie built on the 121 training and focused on building Finn's engagement and obedience and working around other dogs. We were kept well informed throughout and when we picked him up we were happy to discover he had learnt so much. We feel really supported with lots of guidance on continuing the training at home and we've already had success after success in the first month. We're looking forward to continuing to keep up the good work and can't thank Charlie enough. We are so glad we found Royvon!

Cookie has really bad separation anxiety so I could never leave her side but she loves spending time playing with doggies so her coming to spend time with you means I can go shopping and she's having fun so it means the world to both me and her and for this I could never thank you enough and seeing the pictures of her having fun at the end of the day is just the icing on the cake. Royvan is fantastic place. I booked my dog Mila on the three week behaviour modification programme due to her challenging behaviour. We used Royvon to board our 3yo Border Collie Rocky who's nervous around new people. This was the first time we had put him in kennels. We had training sessions before to help and get him used to the staff and facilities.Romeo looked after Rocky and sent regular updates of training and play sessions. We HIGHLY recommend Royvon, all their staff and in particular Romeo and are so very grateful for everything they have done for us and Bleu. We had never left Bleu before in two and a half years and were so nervous to leave him, especially since he can sometimes be slightly reactive. Not only was Bleu happy at Royvon, he excelled with Romeo and has learnt so much. Finally we can go away and relax, knowing he is in VERY GOOD hands and Royvon will be his second home. Romeo is an excellent and highly skilled trainer and is so patient with Bleu and us, when explaining everything we need to know about what Bleu is learning. We always take our dog to Royvon. The staff are friendly, our dog is well looked after and the keep us up to date with photos. Videos and enrichment reports during the stay. Great atmosphere with great facilities and staff.

Molly & Freddie stayed at Royvon Esher for the first time recently. We felt totally reassured they were happy and enjoying themselves by regular updates with photos and videos each day of their walks & enrichment sessions. My two dogs came here for the training and boarding program - we had updates everyday & videos of there training - Romeo did an excellent job with helping us and the dogs with there issues they have come home clean and happy I would only use royvon for training as it is positive training for the dogs and the only place I trust to care for them for the period they were away as they are like my children- still a lot to learn but Romeo has given us tools and guidance and start for us to continue going forward - id like to thank the team for the care of them and Romeo for the effort put into them - highly recommend for anyone on the fence about finding the right trainer as I 100% trust royvon & Romeo that they were treated with the best care and kindness for there stay

We sent our English Bulldog to Royvon for a 3 week modification programme, our dog was assigned to Romeo following the initial consultation.Romeo is a brilliant trainer, instilling great training techniques and has excellent and positive control over the dogs in his care. It was clear to see when meeting with Romeo his love for all dogs.Whilst our dog was at Royvon we received daily updates from the team, we also received messages, videos and images directly from Romeo. The communication was excellent, we knew our dog was safe and cared for and the training programme was working effectively, the videos received also helped so that when we took our dog home we could use the videos for reminders whilst training him ourself.Our whole experience from start to finish at Royvon has been exceptional. After completing the residential training, we were assigned sessions with Romeo to guide us through the correct training habits. These sessions are thorough and extremely beneficial, we have learnt a lot of skills and gained a lot of confidence.We have been away on a few trips since the initial residential training and our dog has returned to stay at the kennels, we book additional refresher sessions with Romeo during his stay. When arriving the whole team greet our dog following which he walks off without hesitation and doesn’t look back! To summarise my experience with Royvon, I would say that they treated my dog (Boba) with nothing but patience, kindness and love throughout his entire residential stay with them. From the moment we met Boba’s main trainer, Charlie, I have never felt more reassured. Since day one, Charlie has made sure to upload daily videos and pictures explaining the training exercises – showing his progress as well as giving us tips on how to sustain it long-term. Considering this was the first time being apart from him for so long, I was surprised at how assured I felt leaving him with Royvon. Not only did Charlie make the time to reply to any emails I sent, but after his time there, she also went through the effort of labelling all the videos so it was easy to refer to when I planned what training activity to do with him. I honestly appreciate it so much. Since being home, Boba has had to transition from being in a new environment to back home and although it was tough at first, I would say that it just takes time and resilience to keep going because it is extremely gratifying when you see the gradual progress.
