Supporting Our Customers, Our Teams & Our Community

COVID-19 Policies

We all find ourselves in a very challenging situation that is affecting all of our lives. This page is designed to communicate our current policies and plans to our customers, so that they can make informed decisions on what actions to take in terms of their travel and the care and wellbeing of themselves and their dogs.

Whilst You Support Others, We’ll Support Your Dogs

We’ve seen some amazing examples of communities coming together to help each other wherever they can. At Royvon, we want to be a part of this, and offer our help to those who need it most.

We are offering to lessen the load with FREE boarding care for the dogs of health care workers during the Covid-19 crisis. We want to help as many healthcare workers as possible to go to work and support the community during this difficult time.

Contact Policy – What We Are Doing

We are taking enhanced measures to minimise any risk of infection and to keep our Customers, Guests, and Employees safe. We look forward to welcoming your dog to Royvon and providing a high level of care as you would expect.

Our priority is for the health of all of the dogs in our care and our teams. There has been speculation that a pet dog in Hong Kong tested positive for this virus but the World Health Organisation has now stated “at present, there is no evidence to that companion animals/pets. Such as dogs or cats can be infected with the new Corona Virus. At Royvon, we will continue to monitor the situation closely, and as always, should a dog show any symptoms of illness , urgent veterinary treatment will be sought.

Current Planning for the Expected Escalation

As we are now in containment stage, we are following government advice and taking the following steps for collection and delivery of our guests at our facility.

We are working hard to keep all of our staff and customers safe. This includes:-

Social distancing

Team members collecting and delivering your dogs to your vehicle

– Only accepting reservation requests remotely via phone or online

– Only accepting payments online

Cancelling all classes and training sessions.

We always (and will continue to) make every effort to maintain a clean environment for our clients and our staff.

Increasing Availability for Home Collection & Delivery – Door to Door Collection or Delivery

Due to the higher than usual demand for this service we have been able to increase our availability so we can support more customers.

In order to help the current circumstances we are offering this service at a reduced rate so that more customers can easily access this service. Please contact our reception for a quotation and we will be happy to provide one for you.

Keeping Our Team Safe

Our Team is aware of the precautions needed to keep themselves as safe as possible at work and in general day to day life. As a responsible employer, we are also looking at ways to minimise their contact with our customers.

We are accepting boarding and training reservations based on possible reduced staffing should any of our team members become ill and not on our capacity based on the number of accommodation units we have available. Therefore the number of dogs we can accept over the coming weeks is reduced.
