Walking with just one puppy can be hard enough, but two!? Leads tangling and being pulled in every direction can make walks a nightmare 🫣 So here’s three tips to improve your puppy’s lead skills and get them walking nicely together 1️⃣ You have to practise one on one. Teaching them something new whilst they’re together is very challenging. Make sure your spending time individually with your pups so you can have their full focus and build up the skill of walking by your side 2️⃣ Lead walking takes a lot of skill. Make sure you reward your puppies for eye contact and focusing on you. If they can’t even look at you they probably won’t be listening either! 3️⃣ Make sure each puppy knows where they need to walk. Pick whether you want your puppies walking on the same side or one on each side. Be consistent to form a solid habit This is Boris & Betty’s progress after just a week!
