RESIDENTIAL DOG TRAINING
PROGRESSIVE DOG TRAINING METHODS
At Royvon, we know the hard work that goes into owning a dog! We all want healthy and happy dogs that thrive. Above all, they’re a member of our family and we love them as such! But, it can sometimes feel as if things aren’t working out too well. Your dog misbehaves, you can’t control them, and living with them unfortunately becomes harder and harder. It feels bad to say it, but your dog is embarrassing! You just want to be proud of them and be able to take them out safely and happily.
Despite this, you really struggle to train your dog on your own. Maybe you don’t have enough time or the right skills. Or, your dog is simply too challenging. You see others training their dogs easily and wish that could be you. Does this sound like something you’re experiencing? It’s nothing to be ashamed of! Royvon offers residential dog training in Rugby to deal with these exact problems. We want every family to live peacefully with their beloved dog, no matter the issues they may have. Our trainers totally understand every issue, and use their expert knowledge and experience to happily train your dog into a pet you can be proud of!

RESIDENTIAL DOG TRAINING IN RUGBY: OUR PROGRAMMES
The residential dog training programmes we have in Rugby are designed to deliver results by giving your dog a structured plan. Our aim is to help dog owners have fun with their dogs and Comment end help them unlock their pups’ potential to be wonderful family pets, by implementing surprisingly small changes that make a big difference!
Our stepped approach helps us determine what programme we should use with your unique pet. This starts with a 1-hour assessment, and then a completely free overnight stay. These steps allow us to come up with the goals that your dog needs to work towards during their stay with us.
Up next is their residential dog training stay with us! Usually, we offer a three-week stay, so it’s perfect if you’re heading off on holiday and need someone to take care of your dog. During this time, we work with them to deliver the results you both need to live happily together. We recognise that every dog is an individual, so we work with each in a unique way to deliver the best results for them!
After this, it’s time for the owner handover. We show off what your dog has managed to achieve during their stay. Then, you can take home the well-behaved dog that you’ve dreamed of! Also, we always offer owner training beyond your dog’s stay. On collection, you can take advantage of an owner training session with us. After that, we offer group training sessions and unlimited 1-2-1 sessions for up to three months! As long as you’re engaged with the training, we are happy to provide support until your goals are achieved.
Your dog will have a happier life by working with us. As a result, you can have peace of mind and feel happier too! Without our intensive programmes, these results may not be possible, which is the reason why we always highly recommend residential dog training.
Our residential dog training in Rugby is designed to be a big success for your dog and your family! The aim is always for you to be able to take your dog anywhere you go. At Royvon Rugby, we are lucky enough to be situated in a great location! We’re situated just off Fosse Way in the beautiful countryside. So, it’s always lovely and quiet for the dogs to enjoy. This means that they settle in quickly and get used to their surroundings.
However, we know the importance of also training dogs in busy areas! This gets them used to a variety of ‘real-life’ situations, as well as being around other people and dogs. So, we are located very close to Coombe Abbey. This is an area that is often busy with people and pets alike. So, it’s the ideal location for us to practice their training in that ‘real-life’ environment they need.
Our amazing facility is located just 15 minutes from Rugby, in the peaceful countryside of Monks Kirby. We’re also close to Loughborough and even just 30 minutes from Birmingham! So, we’re easily accessible from a variety of locations, allowing us to help even more dogs with our residential dog training in Rugby.
OUR RESIDENTIAL DOG TRAINING FACILITIES
We’re really proud of our purpose build facility at Royvon Rugby! We have even been awarded a 5 star rating from Rugby Borough Council, the highest possible rating! Our great facilities include:
Individual accommodation blocks to suit everyone, including quieter blocks for the anxious or elderly, and busier areas for the more boisterous! We also several accommodation types, including our no-frills kennels with an attached run. The dogs are taken for external runs frequently all through the day. These kennels have been described as a Travelodge when compared to human hotels! Our Hilton equivalent would be our Executive Suites. There are only six kennels in this room, that are all very spacious and homely with their own unique interior design! Our Hotel Kennels are another option, that are perfect for dogs that enjoy going in and out throughout the day as they have an attached run. Also, these kennels are a great option for anxious dogs who take longer to settle in, as they don’t need to be taken out to access their runs.
We have a large outdoor field which all the dogs enjoy! It’s perfect for running around and burning off their energy. Furthermore, we have a big astroturf area and another smaller field for the dogs to experience a variety of exercise areas. There are also paddling pools for them to enjoy in the summer months. They really enjoy playing in them with their new friends, and they’re perfect for keeping cool on a hot day.
Our training grounds are safe, secure, astroturfed areas that are always covered by CCTV to help keep everyone safe. Our trainers always have the relevant equipment on hand to help with training and make sure the dogs are stimulated and willing to learn! The team always provide plenty of enrichment toys, treats, and social interaction throughout the day, including in their roots during the day
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Our reception area is a purpose-built, spacious room with comfortable couches to help make each dog feel as relaxed as possible. We also have a private office available for owner consultations. Our General Manager of Rugby, Megan, lives on-site 24/7. There is also CCTV coverage of the whole site and electronic security gates for entry. Furthermore, the site is fully enclosed and secure. And, night checks are carried out by staff every night. This is to ensure all guests are settled in and well before lights go out around 10 pm!
