Residential Boxer Dog Training Programme

Boxer dogs are excellent pets for families. Their energetic, happy-go-lucky personality and clownish behaviour provide entertainment for all ages. A loyal companion, Boxers thrive in receiving love and attention from everyone they meet and are incredibly child friendly. They adore meeting other dogs while exercising, which they need a lot of, and they’re delightful to watch as their playful side emerges. Boxers are highly intelligent and perfectly trainable once you’ve found the right way to reward them and overcome their stubborn nature.

Efficient Boxer Dog Training

Our award-winning training specialists are here to help and support Boxer owners who face some of the challenges that can arise with Boxer ownership. Some owners find the dog’s highly energetic nature challenging to cope with, while others will find themselves battling their natural stubbornness. We’ve trained many Boxer dogs over the years and believe in our strategy to help you and your Boxer co-exist harmoniously. Our special breed-tailored, force-free, two-phase training course is offered to bring you and your Boxer together.

Phase 1 consists of a three-week on-site residential stay featuring an intensive training course for your dog.  Our specially co-ordinated training curriculum employs the latest techniques in teaching behaviour modification and positive reinforcement. The dog undergoes highly detailed training plans daily to meet their training needs. Although intensive, you can rest assured that we make sure your canine friend receives all the love, care and attention they’d receive at home during their stay with us, thanks to our award-winning expert team.

Phase 2 begins after the three-week residential stay concludes. This phase concentrates on you, the owner, and how you interact with your Boxer. For around three months, our team will work with you and your dog on leadership techniques, understanding your dog’s needs and how to get the most fulfilling experience possible as a Boxer owner.

Time-Tested Boxer Dog Training Methods

At Royvon, we have more than 60 years of experience in dog training and obedience, developing unique and time-tested techniques for helping Boxer dogs and their owners blissfully co-exist. With knowledge passed down through three family generations, we know all the tricks of the trade and how to overcome your Boxer’s cheeky stubbornness.

Backed by the latest scientific research methods and adapted through our own experiences with Boxers, we know that an obedient and well-trained dog makes for a happy dog. In turn, a happy dog makes for a happy owner.

Our excellent award-winning trainers wholeheartedly reject force and fear training methods, instead focusing on positive reinforcement and reward-led training techniques to help your Boxer become the perfect family pet. Our training unlocks your dog’s motivation through toys and praise while using fun game-led daily activity sessions to help your Boxer lose their excess energy and keep them physically and mentally stimulated.

Your dog will learn to remain task-focused and ignore external distractions while learning commands and losing none of the playful charms that first made you want to own them. These techniques have been tested and proven to work over decades. You can expect nothing short of complete satisfaction from enrolling you and your Boxers into our residential Boxer training programme.

What to Expect from your Boxer Dog After Training

We know just how challenging owning a Boxer can be, so our training is focused on working on those natural obstacles Boxers can provide to a healthy owner/dog relationship. Once the training programme concludes, you can expect your Boxer to be obedient and much less distracted, yet with all that puppyish allure that first attracted you to them.

When out exercising, you’ll be able to release your Boxer from the lead, allowing them to interact with other dogs, yet with the reassurance that they’ll return when called. You’ll be able to take your dog to pubs, parks, and picnics without worrying about them reacting adversely to strangers. Your dog will gain confidence and assurance, reducing their feelings of threat or fear, meaning that your Boxer will feel comfortable in new surroundings. They will know they will be rewarded when they focus and respond to commands.

A Stay at Our 5-STAR Dog Hotel

Phase 1 of residential Boxer dog training sees your Boxer staying in our luxurious 5-star Dog Hotel facilities. When not working hard, we allow our dogs to relax in spacious accommodation while making friends with others. Your boxer will thrive in our fully licensed site, relaxing and winding down in comfort after a hard day’s training. Our hotels are fully staffed by our experienced team 24 hours a day.

Each staff member is fully trained in dog first aid, and we have a local vet on call if required. In addition, you will receive daily updates via WhatsApp on your Boxer’s achievements and overall progress in training. We’ve found this has become a valuable resource for owners in phase 2 to help owners get to know their dogs just a little bit better.

We take security extremely seriously, and our premises are fully secure with CCTV and ANPR, and only registered guests with access ID are allowed into the site.
