Vicky has grown up with dogs her whole life and has always had a passion for animal care.
She began volunteering with rescue center’s when she was living abroad at the age of 13, helping to rehabilitate, foster and re-home cats and dogs. When she returned to the UK at 17 years old, she completed a 2-year Animal Management Diploma at Merrist Wood College, gaining lots of experience at Uk rescue centers and working in Kennels.
After college she moved to South Africa and trained to become a Professional Field Guide and then spent the next 2 years living and working in Conservation on wildlife reserves in the Greater Kruger. This meant she was tracking wild animals and helping in Anti- poaching efforts, as well taking volunteers out on the reserves and teaching them about the animals they found. This also included helping interns coming to work on their PhD thesis by setting up camera traps and taking them out on drives teaching them about animals behaviour.
She has two anxious rescue dogs one from the Uk and one from Dubai. So, works extremely hard to help make nervous dogs that come in feel more comfortable and loved.
“My dream has always been to work with dogs and Royvon has allowed me to continue this passion. I wake up excited every day to go to work and find the day is over before I know it!”
