Barnaby and his Blog

Barnaby, a gorgeous and well tempered Labradoodle, was a guest of Royvon, Surrey for six weeks.  Barnaby was only three months old when he first arrived, and although he was much too young for the residential programme, his mum found herself in an unexpected pickle just after he was purchased and needed a place for him to stay until she was ready to bring him home. This was not a problem for the Surrey Team, however, as Jackie, the Surrey Training Supervisor was eager to personally take on the puppy challenge in addition to all her other tasks and duties.

Barnaby lived with Jackie and her rescue dog, Krissie at the school.  The following Barnaby's Blog excerpts and links to full journal entries are a testament to both the Royvon Training Team (most especially Jackie!) and the puppy shaping methods now offered as a Royvon specialty service.

Royvon & Pets at Home

Darren James, Managing Director, and his Team of highly competent dog specialists are conducting in-store promotions at Pets at Home (Raynes Park).  These promotions are proving to be extremely successful and the response from dog owners has been overwhelming.

This is where one of Royvon's mottos comes to mind "Our purpose is to enhance the quality of lives of dogs and their owners"

Royvon is also hoping to include the Feltham and Brentford Pets at Home stores in the New Year.

A New Year's Resolution

"I resolve to enhance the quality of life for my dog (and for myself).  I will choose one thing that will make our lives better together and I will seek professional support in the best way forward to re-shaping this part of our relationship."

For New Year's Resolution support, please Contact us.  With all new services, there is a solution to meet your resolution.

Meet the Royvon Experts

Choosing a dog training school or service really comes down to its people - are they qualified, experienced, caring, friendly, responsive...?  While all members of the Royvon Team are featured on the web site, there are two special employees who have been singled-out for this newsletter....

Jayne was selected out of literally dozens of qualified applicants for the position of Team Coordinator of the Surrey school.

The Team Coordinator is the liaison between the dog, dog owner, Trainer and Team of Carers - a key role requiring knowledge of canine psychology, health and care; practical handling skills; the ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively, efficiently and sensitively; and, the wherewithal to keep it all organised and up to date!

While Jayne is the featured Team member from Surrey, Terry Dowman has been selected as the unsung hero from Merthyr.

Terry's career with dogs spans well over 30 years - he has trained, taught, competed, judged, led clubs, formed alliances, rubbed elbows with Crufts champions, and can be found listed as a member of just about every top-regarded dog-related affiliation... but, you would never hear this unsolicited from Terry...
