The most critical time in a puppy's life is between the ages of 4 - 18 weeks, as it is during this time the most rapid learning occurs. In addition, any experience that takes place within this short window of time will have the greatest impact on future social behaviour.
Puppy Courses
The Royvon Puppy Shaping classes teach the skills of positively shaping a puppy's desired behaviour, as well as how to squash unwanted behaviour. Puppy Shaping also includes important socialisation and general education and knowledge of how to raise a happy, healthy and well balanced adult dog.
Surrey School Only: All Puppy Shaping classes are held every Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00am and every Tuesday from 8:00 - 9:00pm. The classes are on a 4 week rotation to enable new puppy owners to enrol into a class effective immediately, attending the first consecutive 4 classes to receive the complete Puppy Shaping course hands-on instruction. Surrey Puppy Shaping classes include a pre-arranged induction with the Instructor once the booking has been confirmed. Confirmations include a toilet training document to get new puppy owners started.
South Wales Puppy Shaping classes are updated monthly.

The problem the domestic dog has is that it needs to become familiar with an enormous number of stimuli in a very short time so as to be able to live in and copy with the diversity of our world.
This is not a newfangled idea but rather a scientifically proven theory that has been extensively researched, studied and known about since the 1930's - Puppy Socialisation and Habituation Why is it Necessary?

Gus - Didn't like the postman
When I was little I liked to chew/destroy TV handsets and mobile phones (the flip-top ones). Although I am sooooo over that now, I've now taken to selective recall and pulling on the lead (and my litttle problem with other dogs). For these reasons, I was sent to Royvon as a Pampered dog.
What can I say? I was astounded! I could not believe the 'out of control' dog that I had left in your care 3 weeks prior was the same dog now totally under Caroline's control.
